Get Answers to Your House Cleaner Questions

After having my third child and returning to work, my husband and I decided to hire a house cleaner. Between the both of us working full-time and three children to take care of, we simply did not have the time to clean our house. While I loved the idea of having a house cleaner, my mind quickly began racing with questions that I did not have the answers to. I wondered how much of my stuff should I put away before the house cleaner came, what all would the house cleaner clean, and if I should hide paperwork, such as bills. I did a lot of research to get the answers to my questions. I started this website because I know there are others like me out there who need a house cleaner, but may have many questions about using one. I created this site to help these people get answers.

3 Mistakes You Don't Want To Make When Renting A Storage Unit

Many people end up renting a storage unit because they are running out of space in their home and need a place to put miscellaneous items. Others rent units because they are in the process of relocating and don't have a new place yet. Whatever your reason, you want to make sure you know what you are getting beforehand. The last thing you want is to end up renting a unit that doesn't accommodate your needs. Here are three questions to ask when renting your storage unit.

What are your access hours?

While many storage unit facilities offer around the clock access, that isn't the case with every facility. You need to make sure you know what hours you are allowed to come in and get to your stuff. You don't want to put your stuff in the unit only to find out that you can only access it between the hours of 8-5 when you work from 8-6. You need a unit that works with your schedule, otherwise, you are going to end up wasting your time and money.

Do you have climate controlled units?

Depending on what you are planning to put inside of the unit, you might want to go with a climate controlled unit. This is especially important when storing collectibles and electronics. You don't want the bitter temperatures to end up destroying your precious items. Climate controlled units will keep your electronics at the right temperature to prevent damage.

Do you have to bring your own lock or is one provided?

Some storage unit facilities have strict rules on whether you bring your own locks or you have to use one of theirs. If you have to bring your own, you need to know this before going there to put your items in the unit. You also want to be prepared in the event you have to pay extra for the lock when you go to rent the unit. You might want to ask what types of locks they recommend for your unit. Better to be extra safe than it is to choose a flimsy lock that someone can break into.

In knowing the information above, you can make sure you get a storage unit that is going to work for your budget and schedule. If you ever have additional questions or need clarification, take a moment and ask the storage specialist at a facility near you.
